I also make a large percentage of my own metal hardware. The metal is poured in a foundry on the outskirts of Barcelona and is hand polished in my workshop. I use traditional techniques like that of the hand sewn saddle stitch with two needles employing French linen thread. I don’t use cardboard to reinforce weaknesses or make volume.
